A new chapter in football development was officially unveiled on June 12, 2026, as Al Mansoura Sports Club celebrated it official launch in Doha, Qatar, bringing together football stakeholders, international partners, coaches, players, media representatives, and distinguished guests from across the global football community.
The launch marks a significant milestone in the football development journey of Mr. Olarenwaju Oyeleye Johnson, founder and chairman of both JustJohn FC Nigeria and Al Mansoura Sports Club Qatar, reflecting his commitment to creating pathways for player development, international exposure, and sustainable football growth across continents.
The ceremony introduced Al Monsoura Sports Club's leadership, technical structure, playing squad, and long-term vision while showcasing the club's ambition to become a respected institution for football excellence in Qatar and beyond.
A Vision Built on Opportunity and Excellence

Delivering his keynote address, Chairman Mr. Olarenwaju Oyeleye Johnson describes the launch as the beginning of an important journey founded on ambition, professionalism, discipline, development, and excellence.
"Today marks the beginning of an important journey. A new chapter built on ambition, dedication, development, professionalism, excellence, and a shared vision for the future of football and sports in Qatar."
According to the chairman, Al Mansoura Sports Club was established to create opportunities, develop talent, promote excellence, and contribute positively to football development both locally and internationally.
He further unveiled the club's strategic vision for 2026-2030, emphasizing the goal of building a model football institution recognized by professionalism, player development, international partnerships, and sporting excellence.
"Al Mansoura Sports Club is not the end of a process; it is the beginning of a mission. A mission to inspire, a mission to develop, a mission to compete, and a mission to achieve."
Building More Than a Football Club

Vice Chairman Mrs. Oyeleye highlighted the club's broader mission of using football as a tool for social impact, youth development, and community engagement.
"We are not launching a club simply to compete. We are launching a club that seeks to develop people, nurture talent, and contribute positively to society."
Her remarks reinforced the club's belief that football can inspire hope, create opportunities, and unite communities through shared purpose and ambition.

Speaking during the event, Head Coach Mr. Tajudeen emphasized the values that will drive the club's football philosophy.
"Football success is never accidental. It is the result of vision, planning, discipline, and continuous development."
He added that Al Mansoura Sports Club aims to create an environment where players can learn, grow, compete, and reach their full potential while embracing professionalism in coaching, player welfare, and football operations.

Another major highlight of the evening was the presentation of the club's inaugural playing squad led by captain Taiwo Opeyemi Akintunde and assistant captain Toheep Oladayo Oloyede.
Addressing guests on behalf of the players, Captain Taiwo pledged the team's commitment to discipline, hard work, and the values of the club.
"We promise to work hard, remain disciplined, respect our supporters, and honour the values of this club. Together, we will write the first chapter of history."

Director Eddy Rose (Mauritius), Former Director of Benfica Academy/MFA and respected football development leader.
Coach Spisljak Zoran (United Kingdom), UEFA Pro Licence Head Coach with extensive experience in elite player development and European football.
Mr. Oke Olusegun Obasanjo, football player manager operating across several European countries.
Mrs. Hanna Adeyemo, General Manager of a football agency in Hungary.
Mr. Kumar Sugan, President of Chitlang FC, Nepal.
Mrs. Ramat Omotolani Alimi, recognised for her support of football cooperation and strategic sporting relations.
Mr. Zoltan, President of Hatvan FC, Hungary.
Mr. Tappaa Anit, President of Pukara Tund FC, Nepal, and owner of Penak Football Club, Malaysia.
The event also acknowledged the support of Mr. Faris of the Asian Football Academy and several international partners whose collaboration continues to strengthen football development opportunities for aspiring players.
